From Long Island to the Adirondack Park, Mr. Sharlow has conducted Environmental Impact Assessments under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) to procure numerous permits to mine for construction aggregates. Mr. Sharlow brings his previous experience as a Partner and Chair of the Permitting, Right to Build, and Compliance Group of a regional environmental law firm with offices in Syracuse, Albany and New York City and now imparts 15 years of environmental law background to all firm matters.
Mr. Sharlow takes a boots-on-the-ground approach to become familiar with his client's issues and won't let typical obstructionist attitudes get in the way of obtaining operational goals. With a focus on Wetlands Law, the Federal Clean Water Act and the Mine Safety and Health Act, Mr. Sharlow represents clients in hearings before State and Federal agencies, and Municipal Boards including the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Adirondack Park Agency, and the Central Pine Barrens Commission.
