Previous to opening my law office, my career included six years active service as a U.S. Naval Officer and then sixteen years as a licensed Merchant Marine 1600 Ton Master and Unlimited Tonnage Oceans Mate. I am a Gulf War veteran. I was the Operations Manager for a large, Seattle based, seafood processing fleet that operated in Alaska and I was President of Atlantic Pelagic Seafood, LLC, based in Portland, Maine.
Since 2004, I have been a King County Fire Commissioner and have been active in fundraising for Fall City's Library since I moved to the Snoqualmie Valley in 1994. As a business manager I was responsible for risk management and hundreds of contractual agreements including commercial leases, ship repair, fuel delivery, employment, and insurance. I started providing pro-bono family law services to low income clients in 2002.
I opened my Law Office in Fall City in 2007, and have served clients throughout Washington State in Superior and District Courts, as well as Federal Bankruptcy Court.
