Our office is currently open and accepting new clients. We are utilizing hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and disinfecting sprays. We clean regularly and use heightened cleaning measures between clients. We do require that mask be worn in our office for our safety and yours as social distancing is not a true available option. Teresa Rieger Housholder, J.D. graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Law School in 1997 (where she was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers).
She obtained a Bachelor of Science from Southwest Missouri State University in 1992 with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Criminal Justice Studies and Music-Vocal Performance.
Before opening her private practice in October of 2005, Mrs. Housholder spent 7 years with the Department of Social Services as an attorney in the Litigation Unit from 1998 to 2005.

The home study is a written report to the court which includes information regarding the condition of your home as well as your educational, financial, marital, medical and psychological status.
The requirement may be waived in step-parent adoptions if both parents signed a consent or the mother signed and there is no identified father.
It will be set up by your attorney in private placement adoptions not handled by an agency.
