Guy W. Germano concentrates his practice on real property law and development, zoning and land use, corporate law, municipal law and environmental regulatory proceedings.
He has represented clients on zoning and land use matters before numerous county, town and village boards and agencies.
Mr. Germano's practice also includes representation of clients in all phases of real estate acquisitions including long-term building and ground leasing and industrial development agency transactions.
He has been counsel for a number of major Long Island real estate development projects totaling several million square feet of commercial development and more than 1,000 units of housing.
Michael J. Cahill concentrates his practice in environmental, administrative and municipal law, in both transactions and litigation.
He has represented numerous municipalities and public agencies in major public works projects, including the construction and operation of waste-to-energy and landfill facilities in the Towns of Islip, Babylon and Brookhaven.
He has represented both public and private clients in the negotiation and litigation of government contracts for the provision of public services and the construction of public works.
Billy represents property owners, developers, small businesses and corporations in obtaining municipal approvals for simple and complex land development projects.
He regularly appears before municipal boards on behalf of individual and corporate clients in connection with zoning and site plan approvals, real estate development projects, and related matters.
Billy has significant experience in commercial real estate sales and acquisitions.
In addition to preparation and negotiations of purchase and sale contracts, Billy works with property owners, developers, engineers, and experts on all aspects of a deal, including due diligence review, title examination, and closing.
Meghan Lambert Healy joined our firm in June of 2003.
Ms. Healy primarily practices corporate law.
She handles all aspects of general corporate law and corporate acquisitions, both stock and asset purchases.
Ms. Healy also handles non-profit corporate work, such as filing Form 1023, obtaining federal tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, and applying for exemption from real property taxes.
Ms. Healy began her law career at Coudert Brothers in New York City, where she interned as a summer associate and then continued on after graduation from law school.
Alyssa Solarsh-Sinatra received her B.A. in political science from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University (Summa Cum Laude), where she served as an intern for the Honorable A. Kathleen Tomlinson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of NY.
She subsequently earned her law degree from Touro Law Center.
Prior to joining Germano & Cahill, P.C., Ms. Solarsh-Sinatra practiced in the area of community association law, representing the governing boards of condominiums, homeowners associations and co-ops, in interpreting and enforcing their governing documents, negotiating contracts, and assisting with collection of their assessments.
