That experience provided him with inside knowledge of the tactics and strategies insurance companies use to avoid paying injury claims. Today, he only uses his knowledge and skills to help people who have been injured recover money for their injuries, medical bills, pain and suffering, and loss of normal life.

There is no "standard formula" that limits the compensation for an injured person!. DO NOT LET FEAR CONTROL YOU - do not let fear of having your case drag out for a long period of time, of not getting a car to drive to and from work or of going to court, rob you of the medical care and financial compensation you are entitled to. If you are worried that you have made a mistake in handling your case or talking to the insurance company, do NOT let that stop you from obtaining our advice.

Interviewer: What happens if you get into an accident with somebody and they don't have enough insurance or they have no insurance at all?
Harry Williams: What if the person that hit you, the at fault party, has no insurance?
Under Illinois law, Illinois requires that a person who drives have to have at least a minimum of $20,000 liability coverage.
If the person who hits you does not have any insurance, then most people, under their own policy of insurance, should have uninsured motorist coverage.
I have more female clients, injured clients, come in and hire me than male injured clients.
The best reason that I can come up with is women are willing to reach out for help more than men are.
They're willing to admit that they can't do this thing on their own.
They're willing to admit that they don't have the skills or the experience or the capability to handle their own injury claim.
Some men think that they're being wimps if they go get the treatment.
Men do harm their cases a lot more frequently than women.
Harry Williams: For the typical injury case in Illinois, let me talk about the statute of limitation.
Typically, you have to either settle an injury case or file a lawsuit against the at fault driver within two years of the accident.
If there's treatment that goes on for more than 18 months, then I need to be talking to my client about filing a lawsuit to protect their rights.
I don't want to wait till month 23 to file a lawsuit.
I want to file a lawsuit a lot earlier to protect my client's rights.
Interviewer: What happens if you're getting calls from an insurance adjuster and they're pressuring you and they say, We need your statement now.
We've got to have it.?
What can you do if you don't have an attorney yet?
Do you have to give them a statement?
Harry Williams: If you're going to try to settle your own case without an attorney, and the adjuster for the at-fault insurance company insists that he's not going to discuss settlement unless you've give a recorded statement.
If you're not going to hire a lawyer, then you don't have much of a choice.
