I maintain a general civil law practice, with emphasis on commercial or business litigation, general business and real estate law, oil and gas law, probate and trust litigation, and employment law.

My practice includes work not only in Nueces County, but all the surrounding counties, including Aransas, Jim Wells, Kennedy, Kleberg, Refugio and San Patricio and other South Texas Counties.
I have also handled significant cases in courts in San Antonio and Houston, and even as far away as Pampa, Texas, in the Panhandle.
I am licensed to handle cases anywhere within the Great State of Texas.

This paper covers a so-called "accommodation doctrine" dispute between an operator and surface owners in a case I tried for the operator in Frio County, Texas.
In 2014 I served by appointment of Texas Governor Rick Perry as the Presiding Officer of the Unclaimed Mineral Proceeds Commission created by HB 724, 83rd Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2013.
