If you've received a traffic citation in West Carroll, Richland, or Franklin Parish, the following information explains the adjudication process.
You may pay the fine for most citations before the court date listed at the bottom of the ticket.
If you do this, in most cases you will not have to go to court and all processes on the ticket will be completed.
Call the Sheriff's Office in the parish of the violation workdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to get the amount of the fine.
Use a cashier's check or money order to pay the fine.

We strive to make collection of dishonored checks as simple and seamless as possible for those receiving them, consistent with the requirements of the law.
The service we provide is without cost to the holder of the check after we receive a completed package; moreover, in most cases we are able to collect a fee for the check holder in addition to the face value to at least partly reimburse the costs of handling a dishonored check.

These are funds to reimburse the State for assistance given to parents and, additionally, aid given to custodial parents when no government assistance is rendered.
These collections have grown from $562,229 in 1985 to $5.1 million in calendar year 2012.
