I was born and raised in Winston County, Alabama and graduated from Winston County High School.
I graduated from Samford University in 1986 and from Cumberland School of Law in 1989.
A former city judge and prosecutor, I have practiced law since 1990 and am a member of the Alabama State Bar Association.
Active in local civic events, I am a member of the Double Springs Study Club, the Bethlehem West Baptist Church and am currently on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Federated Women's Club.
I have been involved in the development of several subdivisions on beautiful Smith Lake.
