At The Affordable Law Firm, emphasis is put on making legal work "affordable." This is the key concept. A lot of times, legal work, whether it is in the areas of criminal law or family law, is prohibitively expensive. This is especially true in today's economy, where every dollar is precious. In light of that, we try to make the legal work affordable.
This is a "boutique law practice". The Affordable Law Firm practices in three areas: criminal law, traffic (DUI, Driving Under Restraint Careless and Reckless Driving, Hit and Run), and family law (divorce, custody, child support, modification of orders). The criminal law cases are handled on a flat fee basis. There is a flat fee for a plea agreement and an additional flat fee for a trial; if a trial is necessary or wished for by the client.
All fee quotes are put in writing, and signed by Phil Klein and the client, with a copy of the fee letter to the client. The touchstone on the fees is to have the fees be "reasonable and affordable". Payment plans are available.
