Henry, Barbour, DeCell and Bridgforth has operated continuously since it was founded in the mid 1890s by William A. Henry and Jeptha F. Barbour, making it one of the oldest law firms in the State of Mississippi. The firm has maintained an office in Yazoo City, Mississippi since its inception, and also has an established presence in the Jackson, Mississippi area.

Its former members include Mississippi Governor and former Republican National Committee Chairman Haley Barbour, United States District Court Judge William H. Barbour, Jr., and the late Senator Herman B. DeCell.
