For the most part, I focus my practice on business transactional matters such as business formation and start-up, contracts, trademarks, intellectual property licensing, along with some real estate, asset protection, and estate planning. Serving closely-held business owners as their "virtual in-house counsel, " I handle a wide range of client issues such as mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and purchases, commercial leases, general contract drafting and review, and dispute resolution/business "divorces."
I received my law degree from the Arizona State University College of Law in 2003 (which, in 2006, changed its name to the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law). While attending there, I studied business/corporate law, internet law, real estate, and intellectual property. I completed the mediation clinic while in law school and have helped mediate many disputes during my career.
Prior to attending law school, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Communication, with an emphasis on logic, rhetoric, and conflict resolution, from Arizona State University in 2000.

What is estate planning?
Estate planning is the process of arranging for the transfer of your assets upon your death.
Effective estate planning will help preserve your assets and leave them for the intended beneficiaries, while giving you the ability to change beneficiaries prior to your death.
Estate planning involves the preparation of a Last Will & Testament or a Revocable Living Trust, both of which are described below.
By taking care of your estate planning proactively, you avoid leaving it up to the state to decide how your estate will be handled.
