The legal system is broken. Fathers and husbands are discriminated against at every turn in divorce, child custody, domestic violence and other legal matters. We protect men. At the Isaak Law Firm, we have dedicated our lives to standing up for men in family law and a wide range of other legal matters. Our founding attorney, Melissa L. Isaak, has seen firsthand how deeply ingrained the biases against men are in the legal system and beyond.

From growing up with a mother who alienated her father to being a child therapist and seeing that what happened in courtrooms didn't truly serve the best interests of children, she solidified her commitment to achieving equality for men. If you are afraid of being falsely accused, losing your child or being forced to pay excessive amounts of support simply because you are a man, we are the law firm for you.

Melissa L. Isaak founded the Isaak Law Firm to fight exclusively for the rights of men in family law. She is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama as well as all Alabama and Florida state courts.

Melissa L. Isaak founded the Isaak Law Firm to fight exclusively for the rights of men in family law.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Melissa served in the U.S. Army as an active duty soldier.
While on active duty, Melissa attended college as a full-time student and obtained her bachelor's degree and a master's degree in psychology.
After an honorable discharge from the military, Melissa worked as a child and adolescent therapist in both a residential hospital and in a private practice setting.
Melissa has also worked as an adjunct professor of psychology at Wallace Community College in Dothan, Ala., where she taught courses in general psychology, human growth and development, and statistics.
Jessica practices out of the Isaak Law Firm's Montgomery office.
Prior to her admission to the Alabama State Bar, Jessica received her Juris Doctor from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Birmingham-Southern College.
As an attorney at the Isaak Law Firm, Jessica understands the emotional toll the legal process can take on husbands and fathers, and she takes great pride and care in advocating for her clients during some of the most challenging and uncertain times of their lives.
The Isaak Law Firm is devoted to leveling the playing field and advocating forcefully for husbands and dads.
We only represent men, and we welcome the tough cases.
Melissa Isaak is uniquely qualified to help - 10 years of focused legal experience and a background as a child therapist.
It's not about hating women.
It's about valuing husbands and dads.
It's about protecting legal rights and preventing a future where your kids barely know you.
We aim to bring truth and fairness into a messed-up system that defaults to giving the woman all the power.
During child custody negotiations, it is very common for the father to feel that he has no hope of earning majority custody or even split custody of his child.
This feeling can be due to the results that repeatedly come from a broken justice system when the court grants the mother custody even if she is not the fittest parent.
Here at the Isaak Law Firm, our Alabama family law firm fights for the parental rights of men facing divorce.
We are tired of hearing stories about how perfectly good fathers lose custodial rights to mothers for no reason other than gender bias, and we have made it our priority to protect men from gender bias in the courtroom.
