I've seen firsthand the power the government has in an attempt to railroad someone into prison, and the political corruption that drives some prosecutions in high-profile cases.
If trial lawyers don't stand against that power and corruption, who will?
I like being that guy that levels the playing field.
I get real satisfaction in getting an insurance company to do something they don't want to do.
The same is true of fighting the government when they over reach into a client's life.
I chose law because I'm motivated by the fight for truth and freedom.

Don't just accept that your license and driving privileges are going to be taken away and don't be complacent.

McAlester Criminial Lawyer - In the State of Oklahoma a criminal felony is a "crime that is punishable by imprisonment in the Penitentiary" (O.S. Title 21 § 5).
A criminal felony conviction can destroy families, lives, and careers.
For this reason, we treat felony charges as if each one carries the possibility of a life sentence.
Felony convictions are far reaching.
In Oklahoma a "felon" cannot vote during sentence, sit on a jury, run for public office within 15 years of completing sentence, be state employed, bear arms, and in many instances, cannot have a driver's license.

A misdemeanor can range from a crime punishable by a fine and/or punishment in the county jail.
Above all, a misdemeanor conviction will be a part of a person's permanent record and subject to scrutiny by the public.
Many misdemeanor violations can result in the defendant's driving privileges being revoked.
According to O.S. Title 47 § 2-605, privileges may be suspended for convictions ranging from alcohol and drug related offenses to citations resulting in a traffic accident.
