Irving Federman started as a Cook County prosecutor from 1976-1981 where he prosecuted every type of criminal action including homicide and serious felony matters. Since 1981 he has worked exclusively as a Criminal Defense Attorney in Illinois. Over the past 40 years he has defended hundreds of felony trials, including over 75 jury trials, and he has obtained more than 25 acquittals in first degree murder cases alone.
