He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and graduated in 2006 with a degree in journalism.
Upon graduating from Tennessee, he attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida, where he received the school's Book Award for excellence in legal research and writing.
After successfully passing the Tennessee state bar in 2009, Lucas worked as an associate attorney for the Knoxville law firm of Young, Williams & Kirk.
He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and graduated in 2006 with a degree in journalism.
Upon graduating from Tennessee, he attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida, where he received the school's Book Award for excellence in legal research and writing.
After successfully passing the Tennessee state bar in 2009, Lucas worked as an associate attorney for the Knoxville law firm of Young, Williams & Kirk.
Emily Horton is from Surgoinsville, Tennessee and graduated from Volunteer High School.

During her time at ETSU, she co-founded the Pre-Law Society, obtained several leadership positions in various student organizations, and fundraised for Prevent Child Abuse America and Girl Scouts of America.
