Services
The Criminal Division works to protect the public from those who endanger, threaten and degrade the security of the community and to serve the public by protecting the personal rights of the people of District 21 to life, liberty, and security.
We enforce the criminal laws of the State of Oklahoma by prosecuting cases aggressively and efficiently in a manner that maximizes public safety and minimizes victimization by creating an environment where victims are treated with dignity, compassion and respect, and by securing for crime victims the treatment to which they are entitled by law and the basic tenets of human decency.
At the core of every violent crime is a victim.
A victim, whose life was taken not by the passage of time, but by the violent acts of another.
Time passes.
The headlines disappear.
It is important that these victims not be forgotten in the community in which they live.
They are at the heart of what we fight for.
Their stories are told here, through the people that knew them best, so that we all may know the effect of their loss.
These stories are here, so we will never forget.

It is the mission and goal of the Truancy Division to give every parent the opportunity to re-commit to their child's education.
The punishment of parents for their child's past truancy is our last resort.
Frequent absences from school may be the beginning of a lifetime of problems.
Truancy has been identified as one of the early warning signs of students headed for potential delinquent activity.
Truancy is commonly associated with juvenile delinquency and several studies indicate a high correlation between chronic truancy and crime.
