At FEPLG, we invite you to learn more about us, our mission, our services, and our ongoing Client Care Program by exploring our website. Together, we can take care of your family. Estate planning is NOT an event, it is a process. We have developed a unique system to help you simplify, providing a smoother overall process. The Family Estate Planning Law Group has dedicated their practice to helping greater Boston residents care for their families.
We have been helping those in need of estate planning as well as with elder law issues since 1990. Our mission is simple-to take care of families when it really matters. An epic number of estate plans fall miserably short of their goal. This is because these estate plans, wills, and trusts are woefully out of date and fail to take care of families when it really matters.
In fact, these documents may do little, other than providing a false sense of peace of mind. It is important to remember that documents, on their own, will not take care of your family.

When was the last time you reviewed or even looked at your estate plan?
Unfortunately, estate planning has traditionally been viewed and serviced as a transaction: simply creating a will or trust.
This does not make sense, considering the reason you complete a plan is to make sure your family is taken care of upon your death or incapacitation, and that the assets you own at the time of your death pass exactly the way you intend.

As a child, I lived with my parents and sister on the second floor of a home owned by my grandparents.
I had the unconditional love, support and encouragement of both my parents and grandparents.
Family was always first.
After graduating from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT where I was co-captain of the basketball team, I earned my law degree from Suffolk University.

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania in a close-knit rural community, surrounded by friends and family.
My parents were older when they married and I have always been able to relate especially well with people older than myself.
When I was young, my favorite times were spent at the family farm and enjoying times with my dad, when he would be including me in activities with his family and friends, many of whom who were quite a bit older than he, which is remarkable, since he was born in 1913!

As a child, some of my fondest summer memories were days spent at my grandparents' house swimming in their pool with all my extended family.
As my parents both had to work, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents and their siblings and I watched my parents care for them as they got older.
When I graduated from law school in 2016, my first position gave me experience with estate planning and probate administration.
I saw how families worked together in winding up a loved one's affairs but how difficult the process could sometimes be.
