Attorney Tom Enright has founded Enright Law to help employees enforce their rights. With over a decade of experience at one of Rhode Island's premier law firms defending some of the largest businesses in the world, Tom has unique insights into how to maximize his individual clients' recoveries in their disputes with employers. Tom's background also ensures that Enright Law's clients will have an unflinching and assured advocate in their corner.

Tom understands that many individuals, especially those anticipating a legal battle with a large company, believe that enforcing their employment rights is a burdensome and expensive process with limited likelihood of success. But Tom founded Enright Law on one fundamental principle: providing affordable and sophisticated legal representation to those most susceptible to abusive tactics by employers.

With Enright Law, victims of employee rights violations can now easily and affordably have those violations remedied. Your livelihood is a serious matter, and you deserve a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
Services
For years, I represented some of the largest businesses in the world in cases brought by consumers who had been taken advantage of.
Now, I use that experience to enforce the employee rights of people who think they are powerless against these companies.
My background as a big firm lawyer for large businesses means that I cannot be intimidated.
And I will not allow my clients to be pushed around.
After graduating from Cranston High School East, I stayed local, graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
Your livelihood is a serious matter, and you deserve a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
You also deserve to be paid what you are owed, when you are owed it.
Enright Law provides aggressive, experienced representation of employees who have been treated unfairly by their employer.
In a well-run company, an employer and its employees work together in a way that benefits everyone.
But the employer/employee relationship is fraught with danger and employees can easily be abused by bosses who have an axe to grind or are high on the power of their position.
Rhode Island is an "at will" state, meaning that, if you don't have an employment contract, generally you can be fired for any reason or no reason at all.
Most of these types of claims require completion of an administrative process and there are strict timelines and rules.
It is difficult, if not impossible, to adequately represent yourself.
Enright Law will take control of your case from the outset and make sure that you're in the best position possible to maximize your recovery.
But that's not all.
You have the right to be free from unwelcome conduct related to your gender that a reasonable person should not have to suffer while at work.
It is a national disgrace that sexual harassment is still so prevalent.
Harassment in the workplace does more than simply disrupt a business; it permanently damages its victims and causes them to doubt themselves and their self-worth.
Harassment also forces people to choose between earning a living and being free from unreasonable obscenities and advances.
Nobody likes to be out of work.
But, unfortunately, it can happen to anyone.
If you have been laid off, or even fired for any reason besides misconduct, you may be entitled to unemployment benefits.
Unemployment benefit appeals are complicated.
The initial decision can be reviewed by a Referee whose determination can be appealed to the Board of Review, then the District Court, and even the RI Supreme Court.
Many employers hope that their former employees get intimidated by the process and simply give up.
