We practice in Skagit County, including the municipal courts of Mount Vernon, Burlington, Anacortes, and Sedro Woolley. Our firm also practices in Island County and Whatcom County. Our firm works hard for our clients; some of our past case outcomes include outright dismissals, not guilty verdicts, and pleading to a lesser charge that saved a person's job, marriage, or child custody rights.
Cases are litigated with the goals of each client in mind; whether that be to save a Commercial Driver's License, retain the right to bear arms and hunt, allow the client to keep working, or avoid serving jail time.

Services
Powers Law Group began as Powers & Costeck in 2005 when Ron Costeck and Jason Powers left the Skagit County Prosecuting Attorney's Office to start a private practice.
In a short period of time, Powers & Costeck grew to one of the larger private criminal law firms in Skagit County, Washington.
In 2018, Ron Costeck accepted a position as the Island County District Court Commissioner.
Once Ron donned a robe, Jason Powers renamed the firm Powers Law Group and kept the focus of the firm the same.
At present, Powers Law Group represent individuals accused of crimes in Island, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties.

Jason Powers (Powers Law Group) is up there with being one of the best attorneys I've had the pleasure of dealing with.
Communication is key not to mention how it's almost like he takes his cases on a personal level, like he's family.
Without a doubt/question I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Powers Law Group for anyone seeking a criminal attorney.
Jason Powers and his team provide compassionate, expert, & extremely effective legal services.
I'm thankful I retained Mr. Powers at one of the lowest points in my life.
