Together, they have represented thousands of Social Security and Supplemental Security Income clients, providing a rich experience and understanding of the disability process inside and out. When disability strikes, one of the keys to being awarded benefits is good representation. Our Mission Statement: Stephenson Disability Services seeks to successfully guide each disabled person through the process of securing benefits from the Social Security Administration, sharing our experience, knowledge and concern to the fullest with every individual.
At Stephenson Disability Services, we are a local firm that you will be able to conveniently call or visit about your case.
It is true that Social Security Disability is a national program, with uniform rules across the country.
But unfortunately, attorneys and representatives from far flung, nationally advertised companies often end up meeting clients for the first time on the day of the hearing.
I graduated from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis in 2006.
I began my legal career as an associate in a mid-sized law firm in southern Indiana.
During the first five years, I worked primarily in our firm's litigation department.
After that time, my practice evolved into more transactional-type work involving real estate and contracts.
Although I enjoyed this area of practice, I missed the "one-on-one" meetings and consultations I had with my clients.
I joined the offices of Stephenson Disability Services in 2013 because it allowed me to focus 100% of my time and attention on Social Security Disability, an area of law devoted to helping others at a time in their life when they often need it the most.
