Joseph Preston "Pete" Strom, Jr. was born in Columbia, South Carolina in 1959.
He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Pete attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he graduated with a J.D. in 1984.
After graduating from law school, Pete served as law clerk to the Honorable Frank Eppes, a South Carolina state trial court judge.
In 1985, Pete joined the Fifth Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office as an Assistant Solicitor.
John R. Alphin was born in Tennessee in 1979.
He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
While attending the University of South Carolina, he made the President's List and the Dean's List.
John graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004, where he made the President's Honor List, Dean's Honor List, and received the Arthur B. Custy Tax Award.
After receiving his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, John received an L.L.M. from the University of Florida College of Law in 2005.
Alexandra Benevento was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004, she moved to Greenville, South Carolina and worked as a paralegal and marketing director for a small law firm.
Alexandra went on to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2009.
After graduating from law school, Alexandra worked as a Legislative Aide for the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Following her time with the legislature, she went on to open her own law practice wherein she represented individuals charged with various crimes in state and federal court.
