Services
Mr. Dunn began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor in the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida, serving as an Assistant State Attorney in Leon and Franklin Counties.
After more than 30 jury trials, in 2005, Kris opened the Dunn Law Firm, P.A. which concentrated in criminal defense.
After several years of working on his own; Kris returned to serve as a prosecutor in the Department of Financial Services, Division of Workers' Compensation, then went to the Attorney General's office where he was a litigator in the Tax section, then went to work for one of Florida's oldest and most respected law firms.
Erin Geraci received her B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.
She previously worked with one of the most successful family law attorneys practicing in Central Florida for over 23 years.
Assisting the attorney in hearings, mediations and trials gives her the hands-on experience necessary to ensure both the attorney and client are prepared before each proceeding.
Erin's family law experience, both personal and professional, allows her to empathize with our clients' concerns regarding the effect divorce will have on themselves, their children and their extended family.
Mr. Harvell is an associate at the firm entering his second year of practice as an attorney with the firm.
He graduated early from The College of Law at Florida State University in the Fall of 2019, and has been a law clerk with the firm since the summer of 2018.
Prior to law school at F.S.U. he was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Psychology.
The intellectual rigor derived from the practice of law keeps him motivated.
I enjoy helping people and the veteran community in Tallahassee for whom I do pro bono work.
Administrative law is the area of law involving you or your company's dealings with the various agencies, departments, and divisions belonging to the State of Florida.
Oftentimes, you and your company may be on the receiving of a licensure complaint by an unhappy customer, an agency action involving the non-renewal of you or your business' license, and/or a denial of a license that you or your business applied for!
This is a niche area of law that a law firm in Tallahassee can really help you, as a client with; that is not to say that other firms located elsewhere can't offer you the same service, but sometimes being located in the same town where the vast majority of State Agencies are located can help with the logistics of getting the right documents to the right people at those important times.
Civil Litigation (often called Business Law and/or Contract Law); refers to the current laws and regulations governing the dealings between people and commercial entities (or business entities versus other business entities).
This is often seen in contractual disputes, employer-employee disputes, performance contracts, non-compete contracts, and similar issues arising between people and/or businesses.
It can also include claims of equity and civil torts, such as a breach of contract and unjust enrichment, tortious interference with a business relationship, slander, landlord/tenant disputes, eviction, and professional negligence.
