My desire to serve others led me to start my own law firm to focus on estate planning, probate and trust administration issues. As I gained experience, I saw the very specific help that families with children with special needs require, as well as the help that our elder population requires with planning for long term care. I truly enjoy what I do, and that I can make a big difference in people's lives through my work.
Prior to attending law school, I spent nearly a decade in the financial services industry. I am a native Oregonian, and I received my undergraduate degree in French from Portland State University. I attended law school at Boston College, where I earned my Juris Doctor. In order to fully serve my clients, I returned to school at the University of Washington School of Law, where I received my Master of Laws (LL.M.), a graduate law degree with a focus on taxation, held only by a very small percentage of lawyers nationwide.
I am a member and active participant with several professional organizations which provide on-going training and education, as well as collaboration with other experts.
