Meghan Young Duplantis is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana. While attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Meghan Young Duplantis had the honor of participating in an internship with the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Louisiana under United States Attorney, Donald Washington. In 2006, Meghan graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science Pre-Law from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Thereafter, Meghan moved to New Orleans to pursue her dream of becoming an Attorney, where she attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate Degree in Civil Law and a certificate in Common-Law in 2010.
