I'm Lilian Chinenyenwa Chukwurah, I am the attorney and owner of Lilly Legal.
I was born in Nigeria and immigrated to the United States in 2002 through a visa petition filed by my father after years of family separation.
I consider myself lucky that I was able to come to the United States and obtain my green card through my father.
My goal is to help my clients gain legal status in the United States and reunify with their families.
Many of my clients have been in the United States for many years and are hardworking people, the problem is that they either do not have legal status or have been separated from their family or both.
VAWA Self Petition: This allows immigrant in abusive relationships with a U.S citizen or permanent resident spouse, parent, or child to apply for legal status in the United States without relying on the abusive that U.S.citizen or legal permanent resident spouses, parents or children to sponsor their Adjustment of Status (Form I-485) applications.
T-Visa: For Victims of severe forms of trafficking.
The Victim must work with law enforcement and prove that he/she would face extreme hardship upon removal.
B-1: Tourist visa for business purposes.
The foreign national must have no intent to abandon home country.
The foreign national cannot do anything in the U.S that you can hire someone else to do.
A B-1 Visa holder can enter the country for up to six months and can request an extension of up to one year.
H-1B: Employment visa option for people working in a specialty occupation that requires at least a BA in a specified field, ex.
Software Engineer.
A labor condition application is required, the employer must pay the employee the prevailing wage for that position.
