Whether you're involved in complex business transactions, complex litigation, or sophisticated trust and estate planning, we can meet all of your needs with a personal touch you just won't find at a larger law firm. We're big enough to do your work with thoroughness and sophistication, but small enough to maintain the long-term personal contacts that are so important between lawyers and their clients.

Services
The founding partners began planning the firm in 1983 with the shared goal of establishing a small law practice that could provide big firm services on a more personal basis.
We opened our doors in 1984 as one of the first tenants of Wells Fargo Center (then First Interstate Center), and have operated at the same location ever since.
Mel Simburg came from Perkins Coie, one of Seattle's largest firms.
David Ketter maintained an established tax, trust and estates practice, and Ken Sheppard had returned to his native Seattle after serving as corporate counsel to the Arabian American Oil Company in New York, Houston, and Saudi Arabia.
