Anne has stayed busy in her community. She has served on the boards of The Manatee County Bar Association, Junior League of Manatee County, PACE Center for Girls, Inc. and Manatee Glens Corporation. She also was a member of and provided legal assistance to, the Florida Quarter Horse Association. Anne currently volunteers her time at the Lord's Pantry, a food bank at Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton, Florida.

She has practiced in the areas of estate planning, guardianships, wills and trusts, estate administration and Elder Law in Florida, and has lectured extensively on these topics. Anne Sheffler Douglass grew up in Manatee County and has been practicing law since 1977. Her practice focuses on Probate Law, Probate Administration, Wills, Trusts and Estates.
