She obtained her bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 2010, graduating summa cum laude, and her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2013.
During her undergraduate years, she was a member of the LSU Honors College, Delta Gamma fraternity, and Kappa Tau Alpha (Mass Communication Honor Society).
She is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
