Adam Beckman is TitleStream's Managing Attorney for it's Northshore office in Mandeville, LA.
As part of his day to day work, he handles various real estate issues related to the closings that his office handles for properties throughout southeast Louisiana.
Adam has established himself as a resource for agents that he does business with, providing them with guidance concerning legal and ethical issues that arise as part of their real estate business.
Adam regularly teaches classes for real estate agents regarding real estate and related legal issues such as contract writing, wills and donations, and new home construction, to name a few.
Malissa specializes in real estate law, succession and will matters and formation of corporations, and received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans.
She received her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Law School in 2001 and was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Malissa joined Smith and Treuting in January of 2011.
James E. Smith, Jr. (Jim) specializes in the areas of business and commercial representation including corporate and partnership matters, gaming law, real estate, and admiralty.
Jim is also the owner / manager of Title Stream, LLC and acts as the Uptown, Mandeville and Westbank offices' Managing Attorney.
Jim represents various riverboat and maritime vessel owners in Southeastern Louisiana.
In 1991, he contributed as an author of the successful Riverboat Economic Development and Gaming Control Act permitting riverboat gaming on Louisiana's waterways.
