JANE COREY SCHEUERMANN graduated from Loyola University College of Arts and Sciences in 1976 with honors. In 1981 she was granted a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law. She began her legal career as a legislative assistant at the Louisiana Legislature, then as a staff attorney with the Office of General Counsel, Department of Health and Human Resources for the State of Louisiana.
She has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1986. Ms. Scheuermann is accredited as a Board Certified Family Law Specialist, Certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. She maintains a general area of practice statewide to assist clients in all legal areas, with personal detailed attention.
Her litigation experience and practice areas include: family law, real estate and property matters, interdictions, judicial commitments, health care, medical malpractice, fiduciary duties and obligations, powers of attorney, ethics and professionalism, successions, wills, estate planning, estate administration and contested estates.
