Performs complex legal research and writing on sophisticated issues in the areas of construction and real estate law with minimal supervision of managing attorney, and take charge in keeping the firm's real estate law database updated; review due diligence items including title, survey, financing, and closing matters; analyze title reports, surveys and underlying documents and work directly with title companies and third parties to resolve title issues; act proactively with a high degree of independence and initiative and with minimal direction as well as to work as part of the team in preparation of legal documents for construction projects and company infrastructure, and provide appropriate suggestions and recommendations; maintain a detailed matrix of critical dates and deadlines and document archiving system; manage case files and assist attorneys in client meetings, negotiations, and closings; meet with clients as necessary to ensure proper case development; prepares correspondence for signature of managing attorney on a variety of complex issues; provide guidance and training to junior Law Clerks and Legal Interns of the firm and supervise their work.
