Shira Renee Zeman is an attorney and founding member of Zeman and Petterson, PLLC.
Prior to forming Zeman and Petterson, Shira founded Zeman Law Office, LLC.
Her practice built on her experience as an Associate Attorney at Yacub Law Offices and a Student Attorney at the George Washington University Law School Immigration Clinic, where she represented clients in family and humanitarian-based immigration cases.
Shira previously served as a Summer Associate and Extern at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in the Mental Health Section, a Mental Health Advocate with the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, and a Research Assistant at the University of Miami with the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Lab.

She was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and came to the United States when she was ten years old.
She graduated from Strayer University with an associate degree in business administration in June of 2009.
She has worked in the legal field since 2001.
Joanna enjoys helping people and loves working with members of the Latino community.
She handles scheduling for the office, manages client payments and vendor relations, translates documents and interprets for client meetings, and prepares and organizes cases files.
