Burch George & Germany PC
We stand up for families in Oklahoma who have been harmed through no fault of their own by car accidents, truck accidents, dangerous products, medical malpractice, and other types of accidents. We made a commitment to represent only individuals and families who have been harmed- not insurance companies or big corporations seeking to make a profit.

Here's how we can help: After any serious accident, insurance companies for the at-fault parties will have lawyers representing their interests. You should too or you will be at a decided disadvantage. The respected attorneys at Burch, George & Germany bring decades of experience to the negotiating table. We work to ensure that any settlement represents the full value of the injury claim.

We are trial lawyers who are not afraid to take on big corporations. We have a proven track record of success. Insurance companies understand that we will go to court if we can't obtain a square deal for our clients. We are proud of our deep roots in Oklahoma.

Attorneys Derek Burch and Kelly George have been colleagues and friends for decades.
Sharing similar interests, professional philosophies and a serious commitment to providing professional and ethical representation to each client, they founded the law firm of Burch & George 1997.
In 2011, Derek and Kelly decided to add their longtime associate, DeeAnn Germany, as a partner and changed the firm name to Burch, George & Germany, P.C. Attorney Germany has been with the firm since 1998 and shares the same determination, drive and beliefs that Derek and Kelly have.
Kelly A. George grew up intending to remain on his family's farm in southwestern Oklahoma and follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps.
But when he went away to attend Oklahoma Christian University in the early 1980s because his parents insisted on him obtaining a college degree, the farming economy sharply declined and became much less appealing.
So when he received his B.S. degree in American Studies in 1985, George opted for an alternative career path.
He decided to become a lawyer instead of a farmer, attending Oklahoma City University Law School and the University of Oklahoma College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1989.
DeeAnn L. Germany joined the firm of Burch & George in 1998 immediately after receiving her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and has spent her entire legal career with this firm.
In 2011, she became a partner and the firm changed its name to Burch, George & Germany, P.C.
Her practice has maintained its same essential focus over the years: solely plaintiff's work, representing individuals in cases involving medical-device and products liability, motor-vehicle accidents, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, and breaches of contracts.
James A. Scimeca has a broad practice, assisting all lawyers in the firm with their cases as a researcher and writer.
A Tulsa native, Scimeca received a B.A. in journalism at the University of Oklahoma in 1981 and got his J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1984.
During law school, he clerked at a firm in Norman and joined it immediately after graduating from law school, doing general litigation.
Shortly thereafter, Scimeca left to join a firm focusing on oil and gas litigation.
Immediately after a car accident, if you are not too hurt to act, there are several steps you can take to gather evidence that will help if you pursue a legal claim.
If you can, take photos of the accident scene, including vehicle positions, damage, skid marks and debris.
When you talk to police, answer questions about the accident honestly.
However, do not volunteer information.
Do not admit fault.
Do not blame anyone else.
If you have been hurt, see a doctor as soon as you can.
If an ambulance / emergency medical services arrive at the accident scene, follow their instructions.
