Paul G. Swanson is a senior partner in the firm and primarily represents individuals and businesses in financial reorganizations, restructurings, formal bankruptcy proceedings, receiverships and other debt adjustment strategies.
His representation is limited primarily to debtors in both simple and complex matters.
He has practiced Bankruptcy & Insolvency Law for close to 38 years.
He has represented clients primarily in the Eastern District of Wisconsin, but also frequently appears before the Bankruptcy Courts in the Western District of Wisconsin.
Michael P. Richman focuses on representing Chapter 11 debtors and creditors' committees and advises on virtually every aspect of financial distress and bankruptcy.
Throughout his extensive career, Michael has appeared as counsel in state courts, federal courts and, in particular, bankruptcy courts in nearly 20 states and territories.
Michael focuses on the representation of Chapter 11 debtors and creditors' committees.
He regularly advises and represents clients in virtually every aspect of financial distress and bankruptcy, including out-of-court restructurings, prosecution and defense of creditors' rights litigation (including preference and fraudulent conveyance cases), individual and group secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, purchasers of assets under Bankruptcy Code section 363 and other parties in interest.
Claire Ann Richman is a partner in the bankruptcy and insolvency group of Steinhilber Swanson LLP in Madison, WI.
In addition to commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters, both commercial and personal, she concentrates her practice in litigation, contract disputes, debt collection and real estate.
Claire Ann has had a distinguished career, serving for many years as an appointee to the panel of Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees by the United States Trustee program.
She has been selected annually since 2005 for inclusion in Wisconsin Super Lawyers, and in 2005 was also selected as one of the Top 25 Women Super Lawyers in Wisconsin.
Kenneth R. Sipsma is a partner in the firm of Steinhilber Swanson.
He represents individuals, businesses, estates and trusts throughout Wisconsin and in federal courts in Wisconsin and Illinois in civil litigation, collections, divorces, probate and trust litigation and administration, business formation and operation, estate planning and appellate cases.
Mr. Sipsma (Ken) has extensive experience representing individuals in complex divorce cases involving prenuptial agreements, valuation of assets and business interests, child custody matters and on appeals.
