I received my bachelors degree from Baylor University and my law degree from Texas Tech Law School.
I was licensed in 1993.
I began as a criminal prosecutor, handling misdemeanor and felony cases, as well as CPS cases.
I worked for about 7 years for the Department of Aging and Disability Services, enforcing long-term care facility regulations in the state of texas, as well as handling enforcement of licensing regulations for Administrators and nurse aides.
I was an attorney for Child Protective Services for about 7 years, representing the department in actions involving alleged child abuse and neglect.
