Services
William H. Crawford was born and raised in Sebring, Florida.
After graduating from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Billy spent two years as construction manager for Crawford Construction, Inc. in Ft.
Pierce.
He then entered FSU's College of Law where he was a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif.
Upon graduating in the top 10 percent of the class, Billy accepted an associate position with the Pennington, Wilkinson and Dunlap firm in Tallahassee.
While with this firm, he practiced in the issues of commercial and real estate litigation and bankruptcy, representing such clients as Nations Bank of Florida, Transamerica Commercial Finance Corp., the Federal Depository Insurance Corporation as well as other local banks and defending civil rights claims on behalf of Royal American Development.

Scott W. Smiley grew up in Miami, Florida.
After graduating from Vanderbilt University with an undergraduate degree in philosophy, he entered the Florida State University College of Law.
As a law student, Scott was active in the Student Bar Association and worked as a research assistant to the school's Former Dean, Orin Slagle, where he gained valuable experience in both legal research and writing.
Upon graduation from FSU, Scott began his career with the Law Offices Of William H. Webster.
While associated with the firm, he gained extensive trial experience arguing personal injury actions, conflict public defender cases, and he took over the firm's governmental, family law and probate caseload.

She also became a published author with her note titled "Regulatory Agencies and the Continuing Threat to the Attorney-Client Privilege".
She attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in Sociology and graduated summa cum laude in just three years.

The employer was free to offer any terms or conditions of employment it wished, and an employee was free to leave if he or she desired.
This situation was, by and large, better for the employer than the employee, as the employer usually had more leverage to protect its position.
With the growth of labor unions in the early 20th century, the federal government took an increased role in regulating the workplace, enacting minimum wage and overtime requirements and mandating safety standards.
