I practice estate planning so I can use my passion, creativity, education, expertise, thirst for knowledge, and desire for challenge to ensure that YOU have the most understandable and appropriate estate plan to protect you, the assets you have worked so hard for, your family and loved ones, and YOUR FUTURE. My goal is to make you comfortable in every aspect of the planning process, starting with the first time you meet me.
I want to dissuade you of any preconceived ideas about how lawyers communicate, act, and treat others. Develop long-term relationships with my clients and their team of financial professionals by earning their confidence and trust through caring and personal service. Use the most appropriate, efficient and cost-effective strategies to accomplish my client's objectives.
Make a positive difference in my client's lives by providing the peace of mind that they have hired the best attorney to represent them. Please join me at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17 to discuss how to protect your kids' inheritance from creditors, predators, and divorcing spouses!

If you are coming on I-435 from Kansas, exit at Holmes.
Stay in the center lane on the exit ramp, which will allow you to go straight at the intersection with Holmes.
Go straight across Holmes and you will find yourself on E. 104th Street.
You will pass several mirrored buildings on your right, followed by a cemetery.
Once you pass the cemetery (about mile from Holmes), watch on your right for an entrance marked "Plaza."
Turn into that entrance, then make an immediate right turn, followed by a left turn.

Simply put, estate planning is the process meant to ensure that, if you die or become incapacitated, what you want to happen to you and to your assets actually happens.
This process includes not only drafting documents, but also spending time learning about you, your family, your goals and hopes for your family's future.
Estate planning is for everyone.
Whether a person is single, married, has no children, has young children, or has adult children growing families of their own, one of the most important steps you can take to protect yourself and your loved ones is to establish an estate plan.

Following the death or incapacity of a loved one is a difficult time regardless of how well-designed your estate plan may be.
Administering the estate of a family member as an executor, administrator, or guardian is especially draining when you are grieving the loss of a loved one or if there is an unexpected disagreement within the family.
This is an important time to have a trusted individual, known to the family, to call upon for help.
I am available to help smooth the process by representing clients who serve in a fiduciary capacity following a loss or incapacity.

Seniors and their families often face a myriad of legal and extralegal needs such as end-of-life decisions, unexpected incapacity, public benefit eligibility, or long-term care concerns.
I strive to help my aging clients preserve their assets and maintain dignity and control, as they grow older.
This often requires a focus on planning for incapacity, asset protection and long-term care.
I also represent clients in every phase of incompetency.
