In a federal Section 1983 case involving twelve Plaintiffs, Carl Spining and Michael Schmitt successfully defended fourteen Benton County Sheriff's deputies against civil rights claims. Ortale Kelley recently represented a real estate developer in an asset purchase transaction in the amount of approximately $80 million, regarding the sale of multiple mixed-use commercial and multi-family residential buildings in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ortale Kelley held its annual Second Tuesday Legal Advice Clinic through the Nashville Bar Association and the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee, where many of its Attorneys donated their time to answering questions, reviewing documentation, and providing advice to individuals in need.
