Lodhi Law Office
Coming to the United States from another country with the intention of staying in America can mean many things for immigrants: happiness, excitement, hope, and relief, to name a few emotions. One thing it should not involve is extra stress or fear. I am attorney Patricia R. Casarez-Lodhi. I founded my law firm, Lodhi Law Office, PLLC, to help immigrants and their families navigate the United States immigration system successfully.

I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I understand from personal experience the cultural and societal norms that affect all Spanish-speaking communities. As the youngest of five children, I also know and understand the importance of family unity. Professionally, I focus my law practice 100% on immigration law.

I am a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, a registered practitioner before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR - Immigration Court), a member of the Federal Bar (Eastern District of Kentucky), and an attorney licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Services
I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas as the youngest of five children, and am a native speaker of both English and Spanish.
Before I started practicing law, I was a high school Language Arts teacher for several years.
I taught in Laredo, Texas at JB Alexander High School, and in Lexington, Kentucky at Lafayette High School.
I take pride in helping others achieve their goals.
As an attorney, I offer quality legal services and have an exceptional track record of handling complex cases.
After earning my law degree from NKU's Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2009, I began practicing law in 2010.
You have your choice of which immigration law firm you should work with and hire, so what makes my firm, Lodhi Law Office, PLLC, different from the others?
1. Expertise of the attorney - I am attorney Patricia Casarez-Lodhi, and I pride myself on continuously learning about the changes in the law that affect the immigrant community.
I use my non-office time wisely by taking courses from various immigration providers so that I can stay current on all aspects of immigration law.
Additionally, I am a member of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and a member of the special group of attorneys who are admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Consultations are available weekly every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as Sunday afternoons.
One of the most important things at the start of any professional relationship is the establishment of trust between the potential client and the attorney.
During our initial meeting, we will get to ask questions of one another and determine if we can work together in a productive and positive client-attorney relationship.
I know that you have many questions and concerns about your potential case.
Attorney Patricia can help you or your family member apply to get a US visa (the first step in obtaining a "green card"), adjust your status, apply for asylum, obtain an unlawful presence waiver, Removal defense, as well as other immigration issues that may pertain to your case.
Because immigration law is Federal and not Statutory, I am able to help people throughout all of the United States.
You do not need to live in the state of Kentucky to become a client at Lodhi Law Office!
All of our conversations and meetings can take place via telephone, so there is no need for you to come to my office in Lexington.
Whether you are thinking of coming to America or are already here and intend to remain legally, getting the details right about the required family or business visa is a critical first step.
I am attorney Patricia Casarez-Lodhi, founder of Lodhi Law Office in Lexington, Kentucky.
My original intent in law school was to go into the practice of business law.
As my studies progressed, I grew convinced that I should apply my Spanish fluency and social interests to help immigrants prosper legally in America and to help America prosper through the contributions of legal immigrants.
