The Lewis Law Firm currently consists of two attorneys and their support staff. The firm's practice encompasses many areas of law; however, a large portion of the practice is dedicated to insurance company representation, with emphasis on fraudulent or suspected fraudulent first party claims and arson cases.
The attorneys are routinely called upon to direct the investigation of suspected fraudulent first party claims and to defend against alleged breaches by insurors of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, including suits brought under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and Article 21.21 of the Texas Insurance Code.Mr. Lewis has tried many arson and fraud cases with results favoring his insurance company clients.
The firm also represents insurance companies and its insureds in the defense of liability claims and suits such as auto, premises liability, sexual assault, and commercial liability. Another large portion of the firm's practice is dedicated to commercial banking and business litigation.
