While I am a lawyer and my career is a large part of my life, it's only a small part of who I am.
To start off, I am sort of a nerd sometimes.
I love to read and learn new things.
My favorite books consist of histories and biographies, but I also have an affinity for good investment and business books.
I try to stay physically active and have recently set a goal of cycling the entire Lewis and Clark trail from St. Charles, Missouri to the Pacific coast in Oregon.
To date, I have gone over halfway across the state of Missouri.
I have a double name - John Forrest - which can often throw some people off.
I also share the same initials as John F. Kennedy, and my friends call me JFK sometimes.
Unlike the famous president, I grew up in Saltillo, a town outside Tupelo, Mississippi, where I enjoyed playing sports such as baseball and football.
Being from a politically active family, I was involved in politics and campaign activities from the time I was a young teenager.
While politics didn't seem like the right career path for me, I believe my experience in these early years contributed to my development as a lawyer.
Part of our mission at Crow Estate Planning and Probate is to give back to our community.
We believe that part of our mission and responsibility as citizens of this nation is to help those that are less fortunate.
To that end, our firm is resolved to support different charities and organizations across Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.
Each month, we sponsor a local charity and donate a portion of our revenue to that organization.
We also volunteer our time at local food rooms, soup kitchens, and other worthy causes.
