The Law Office of Alona Sharon only represents clients who are facing criminal charges or who have been convicted of a crime. My law firm is not a general practice firm. Why not? Because I am passionate about protecting the rights of the accused. When you or a loved one is facing criminal charges or have been convicted of a crime it is critical that you turn to a lawyer who lives, eats and breathes criminal defense law.

At the Law Office of Alona Sharon every day is spent defending clients, their rights and freedom. Client charged with several counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct of various degrees, potentially looking at up to 10 years in prison and registry on the sex offender list. After conducting thorough investigation and a 2 hour preliminary examination during which Ms. Sharon grilled the complaining witnesses all charges against the client were dismissed and he pled to 2 counts of disorderly conduct.

Criminal law is always changing. Not only do the procedural rules of how to pursue an appeal change but new cases come down from the Michigan appeal courts at least twice a week.

All charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct fall into one of four categories or degrees.

If you are charged with a sexual touching, where no penetration is alleged, then you will typically be charged with either a second or fourth degree offense.

The record consists of transcripts of all of the relevant court dates including pre trials, motion hearings, evidentiary hearings, all days of trial and sentencing.
The court reporter can take up to 91 days to complete the transcript order.
