The law firm of Gordon, Dodson, Gordon & Rowlett is one of the oldest in Chesterfield County.
The firm's history dates to 1958 when Lee R. Gordon (1929 - 1987) opened his law practice.
The expanding law office became Gordon, Garner & Dodson in 1967 when John E. Dodson joined the firm.
Steady growth continued, and in 1980, Thomas L. Gordon, Lee's oldest son, joined the practice and the firm name changed to Gordon, Dodson & Gordon.
The firm known today as Gordon, Dodson, Gordon & Rowlett, is reflective of the continuing partnership of Thomas L Gordon and Randy B Rowlett, who joined the firm in 1998.
Don Gulledge is a lifelong resident of Chesterfield County.
He is a graduate of Meadowbrook High School.
Upon graduating high school, Don entered the trucking industry where he worked for several years.
Don is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond law school.
Don joined our law firm right out of law school.
His practice focuses on criminal/traffic defense and family law.
Don is married and enjoys spending time with his wife when he's not fishing, hunting or playing golf.
Ryan Spetz is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia.
He graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 1997 and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where he renovated anti-bellum plantations.
In 2004, he returned to Virginia to attend law school at the University of Richmond.
Upon graduation from law school in 2007, Ryan clerked for the Honorable Cleo E. Powell in the Chesterfield Circuit Court.
This opportunity gave him invaluable insight into how judges perceive the cases presented to them and the thought processes judges go through in making decisions.
Elizabeth is a lifetime resident of Richmond, Virginia.
She has been practicing law for over 20 years.
Elizabeth's compassion and approachable demeanor serve her clients well when it comes to effective negotiation and communication.
Prior to joining Gordon, Dodson, Gordon and Rowlett in the fall of 2019, she was a solo practitioner for 5 years and focused on child advocacy and mediation.
From 2008 through 2014, Elizabeth worked at BrownGreer where she was promoted to the position of Senior Counsel.
Todd Perry is a lifelong resident of Chesterfield County.
He is a graduate of Thomas Dale High School and a proud Virginia Commonwealth University Ram! Todd graduated from law school at Liberty University.
Todd enjoys litigation and his practice focuses on criminal and traffic cases, family law, and personal injury.
Todd truly enjoys having the opportunity to give back to this great community, which has given him so much.
As an attorney, his goal is to stand up for the great people of this community and fight alongside them to help them achieve their goals!
