State Bar service - Rick Kraft is a past President of the New Mexico State Bar and was the youngest President in the State Bar's history when he served in this capacity in 1998-1999. He also served as President of the New Mexico Young Lawyers Division in 1986-1987 and was executive director of the Pamela Minzer State Bar Leadership Institute training lawyers statewide in leadership.

After graduating from Baylor School of Law in 1982, Rick practiced law with the Sanders law firm in Roswell until he started the Kraft Law Firm in 1998.
He is currently serving southeastern New Mexico sitting as a District Judge.
The firm represents a diverse clientele in both size and range of activities.
