Redding Law Office
I knew, from the moment I formed my office, that I made the right decision for both myself and my clients. As a small, boutique law firm, my clients get to know me personally and are always in on what's happening with their case. One of the greatest advantages of working with a small firm, like mine, is getting to know your attorney personally. I want you to enjoy that advantage, so I invite you to share everything with me - your goals, your concerns - heck, even your life story!

The more I know about your situation, the more I can do for you on the legal level. The more I know about you as a person, the better I can tailor your estate plan to suit your specific needs. I can't stress enough how much I genuinely love helping people. The moment you step into my office - or I visit you at home - I feel compelled to do what I can to appease your legal concerns.

Sometimes that means simply directing you toward the appropriate next steps. Sometimes it means taking you on as my client then and there.
Services
To understand why I am so determined to offer excellent, personalized service to my clients, it helps to know a little bit about my experiences before forming Redding Law Office PLLC.
My legal career began at a large, voluminous law firm.
But I quickly realized that, while volume work offers great job stability, it takes away from the services the client is actually paying for.
This type of practice left no room for intimate client interaction and the development of meaningful relationships with the individuals I represented.
I was born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, where I learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and loyalty.
Today those traits extend not only through my familial and work relationships, but also through the relationships I share with my clients.
The path that got me to where I am now, though, had its fair share of twists and turns.
I started out my education with a strong interest in political science, which is why I majored in that area during my time at Texas Tech University.
After that, I pursued law school with the intention of going wherever the wind might take me.
Estate planning is something most people tend to put off for another day when, in fact, an estate plan is something every adult should have.
Many adults end up putting off estate planning, with less than one-third having even a simple will in place.
Younger adults, ages 18-34, are now 63% more likely to have a will than they were in 2020.
In fact, that age group currently outpaces adults aged 35 to 54 by 16%.
There are a number of different estate planning tools you can use to ensure your wishes are honored.
Determining how you would like your estate, assets, and property to be handled upon your death can save time, money, and stress for your loved ones.
According to a 2021 Wills and Estate Planning Study by Caring.com, about one out of three American adults (32.9%) have a will or estate plan.
Regardless of how large or small your estate may be, drafting a last will and testament allows you to provide detailed instructions about how your estate and assets should be handled when you become unavailable.
Trusts are very versatile estate planning tools.
There are many different trusts that each serve a different purpose and give a different benefit to you and your estate plan.
Basically, a trust only exists on paper and has four requirements: trustee; trust property; trust document; and known or discernible beneficiaries.
A trust is created on paper as a trust agreement.
A person who creates a trust has several names grantor, settlor, or trustor.
The trust agreement contains the instructions for the management of the trust assets, how the assets are to be distributed from the trust, and specifically, instructions for what happens to the trust if the person who created the trust (the grantor) becomes incompetent or dies.
