Law firms are rarely known as dynamic, personable places. But then, Bodyfelt Mount is not like most law firms. While many firms are expanding into every conceivable area of law, we have principally limited ourselves to what we do best: civil litigation. We have made a conscious decision to remain small. This way you won't get shuffled off to another echelon of lawyers you may not even know.
We have built our practice around a tightly knit group of attorneys with common interests and a genuine commitment to our individual clients and their cases. We are as much committed to emphasizing good health, physical fitness, recreation and family relationships as we are to quality legal practice. We view these separate interests as complementary and are proud to function with such remarkable individuals.
We provide cost-effective, result-focused work on behalf of our clients throughout Oregon and Washington.

Services
At Bodyfelt Mount, we practice civil dispute resolution, representing clients in a variety of litigation matters.
Our cases often involve insurance coverage, professional malpractice, product liability, drug and medical device claims, environmental coverage and defense, employment law, construction defects, trucking and transportation, and complex commercial disputes.
What we do is not unusual.
What sets us apart is how we do it.
Our approach to the practice of law practice springs naturally from our roots in Oregon and the state's collegial environment.

Helaina "Laney" Chinn originally hails from the Bay Area and is happy to call Oregon home.
Those closest to Laney note the telltale signs that she was a litigator-in-the-making from a young age, pointing to her performing arts background and competitive spirit, but Laney describes her choice to become a lawyer as a simple one-she enjoys doing what lawyers do and doing it well.
Outside of the office, you'll find her supporting Portland's performing arts, exploring local hiking trails, and discovering good restaurants with family and friends.

Jamison McCune is Oregon born and bred.
Jamison grew up just outside of Portland and attended the University of Oregon on a full-ride scholarship for undergrad.
After graduating with honors, he chose to remain at Oregon for law school because of his strong ties to the state and desire to practice law in the Pacific Northwest.
Jamison now maintains an active litigation practice in both Oregon and Washington.
While Jamison is a native Oregonian, he enjoys traveling and exploring different cities.

Rachel Perry grew up in Madeira Beach, Florida and relocated to the Pacific Northwest for law school.
Rachel is a former Rotary Youth Exchange Student and spent a year abroad in Miyagi, Japan.
Her experience as an exchange student and learning a second language fueled her desire to be an attorney and provide top tier assistance in "translating" the law to work for her clients and achieve their goals.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys visiting Portland's farmer's markets and trying her hand at creating new dishes.

Eric "Skip" Winters is a fifth-generation Oregonian, raised in the Willamette Valley.
He divides his time and energy between providing experienced and efficient representation for his clients and exploring all of the outdoor activities that Oregon has to offer with his family.
In spite of his "offensive lineman" build, Skip is an avid cyclist and has participated in the week-long Cycle Oregon rides and the two-day Seattle to Portland ride many times (much to the delight of cyclists who draft in his wake).
