We all do our best to prepare for the future. And sometimes it is hard to think about what will happen after our death. When making sure your family is provided for, here are two main vehicles for protecting your assets. In addition to understanding the legal issues, as transactional lawyers, we execute a commercial transaction in an effective, efficient and ethical manner weighing all of the client's objectives for the best possible outcome.

Helping litigants or parties in a family law matter include supporting the client through the end of the trial or case resolution which can be as important as our firm's 50 plus years of success in navigating courtrooms.
Services
We all do our best to prepare for the future.
From purchasing insurance policies that protect our assets and health to investing for our retirement, we routinely make decisions that will affect our future.
But what about making sure your family is provided for in the event of your death?
Few of us like to think about our end of days, but it is important to have your affairs in order to ensure that your loved ones are cared for and your assets are distributed or maintained in the way that you intend.
A commercial transaction is essentially an agreement between two or more parties to enter into a business relationship that involves the exchange of items of value, either on a one-off basis (as in the case of a sale), or on an ongoing basis (as in the case of an investment in a business or a joint venture).
The relevant laws and legal issues will depend on a number of factors, including the jurisdiction in which the parties and the relevant assets are located, the nature and structure of the transaction, the commercial agreements governing the transaction and any legal, regulatory or procedural requirements that need to be satisfied in order to give effect to the transaction.
Litigation is the process of taking a case through court.
The litigation or legal process is most common in civil lawsuits.
In litigation, there is a plaintiff (one who brings the charge) and a defendant (one against whom the charge is brought).
To litigate is to file a charge against someone and bring a case to court.
The alternative to litigation in business cases is arbitration.
Our firm works with you to devise the best strategy to complete your case either taking the matter through the entire court process through litigation, moving it to an arbitrator or resolving it through settlement negotiations.
