Mary Beth Mantiply has served the legal needs of the people, businesses, nonprofits and governmental entities in South Alabama since her graduation from the University of Alabama School of Law. For more than 30 years, Mary Beth has successfully represented hundreds of clients in civil cases, both as plaintiffs and defendants. Mary Beth served as the attorney for the Mobile County Commission and the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.
She was a founder and Master Barrister of the local chapter of the American Inns of Court, has been recommended by Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys and has served as an Administrative Judge for ADEM. In 2012, Mary Beth obtained a Circuit Court jury verdict for $1,250,000 in the Baldwin County case of Moody v. United Nonwovens, LLC.
This was a complex eight-day trial involving issues of cross-collateralized loans, fraud, mortgages, UCC documentation, insurability issues and stockholder rights. In 2015, Mary Beth obtained a $7.1 million dollar award for the City of Mobile for its damages arising out of the 2010 BP Oil Spill.
