Robert E. Romano has over 29 years of service helping families on the South Shore work towards achieving their financial goals. Beginning as a financial advisor in 1992 (and a Certified Financial Planner since 1997), he has enjoyed helping others gain financial security. Mr. Romano went to law school after seeing the impact of increased medical expenses and nursing home costs on his clientele's life savings.

He saw the need to address the issue to help his clients and went to law school at night while keeping his practice as a financial advisor and graduated in 2004. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and collaborates with both Massachusetts attorneys and leading Estate planning attorneys nationwide. Robert E. Romano is now fully dedicated to estate planning and helping families protect their assets in order to pass them to their heirs according to their personal wishes.

He takes great pride in getting to know his clients, their family situation, understanding their unique values, circumstances and goals, and in designing customized strategies to achieve their wishes.

Estate planning is not about how much money you have, it's about protecting what you have for you, during your life and for those you love, after you're gone.
It ensures what you have gets to the people you love, the way you want, when you want.
If you were to die today, are you comfortable everything will be taken care of the way you wanted?
Estate planning is legally ensuring things will be handled the way you want by providing sufficient instructions.
Estate Planning really is for everyone.
You still have to plan for the future.
If you become sick or disabled, either temporarily or permanently, who will make decisions for you?
A Power of Attorney allows you to appoint someone you trust to handle your affairs if you cannot do so.
2. If you cannot pay bills, get records, make phone calls or make other decisions, your family will be prevented from helping you.
3. Without a Power of Attorney, your family may have to file what is known as a Conservatorship or Guardianship Proceeding, seeking conservatorship/guardianship of the disabled person.
