Steve grew up in Houston Texas in a large, close-knit Irish family so he places great value on family.
He graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston and began his law career with his two older brothers in Houston, Texas in 1987.
In 2002 Steve moved to North Carolina and shortly thereafter, began the Monks Law Firm.
He is licensed in both North Carolina and Texas.
Steve has had a storied career, having tried over 150 jury trials and representing thousands of clients over the past 30 years involving most every kind of legal issue imaginable.
